Opal self-patterning socks knitting pattern.

As a guide - to fit an average adult foot you will need one 100gm ball of Opal Sock Yarn plus:
 
Needles – 1 set of double pointed needles, 15cm long
Loose knitters will require 2.25mm needles
Average knitters - 2.50mm needles or 
Tight knitters 2.75mm needles
 
 
If you require the pattern to be matching on each sock (as per the pictures on the front of the pattern) a good hint is to purchase TWO 100g balls, and start each sock from the end or beginning of each ball.   You will have enough wool to make TWO pairs of socks this way.
