These funky black handwoven cotton shoulder bags are hand embroidered front and back, they have two large pockets which dome together and close with zips, and a zip up pouch pocket which is embellished with assorted designs and touches of abhala mirror work, this bag has an adjustable shoulder strap.

Each bag takes four hours to embroider. The embroidery techniques used are over a thousand years old, they are based on the practises of the Kathiawadi desert nomads and are being kept alive by the Gujarati artisans of St Mary’s Mahila Shikshan Kendra, one of our fair trade partners in India.
