Please don't use these craft punches on cardboard - they are designed for regular paper or craft paper.
 
Please note that the cutting blades of these punches have been sprayed with a little oil to protect them in storage and transit.  Please use scrap paper to cut a few shaps out to start with to clean the blade free from any oil residue.
